A Peaceful Retreat with Really good Service
dog menu spacious room beautiful building tasty breakfast
The staff welcomed our dog and even offered a special dog menu, a lovely touch. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, decorated in keeping with the beautiful building. Breakfast featured locally sourced sausages and bacon, all very tasty.

The charcuterie platter presented a satisfying quantity of quality food (especially the local cheeses). We enjoyed a recommended bottle of rosé from their extensive wine menu. Breakfast included locally sourced sausages. They were very tasty.

The gardens surrounding the house are well maintained. There is an enclosed paddock, a nice bonus, allowing dogs to run freely. The location is within the South Downs National Park.
